Super discount at Nasama

To coincide with Air Vanuatu’s Super Sales Fares for the 2019 low season of February and March, Vanuatu’s Nasama Resort is offering 40% off for bookings of four nights or more during this period.

The 30 Beachview Studios are priced at A$125 per night (for three guests) and the six Luxury Oceanfront Suites are A$200 per night (two guests). At least 50% of the resort’s room inventory has been allocated the special rate. ‘We have a good New Zealand market, especially during the low season,’ says Mathilde Assouad, general manager Nasama Resort. ‘There was a lull after Air New Zealand pulled out, but since last year it has picked up and is growing. I think New Zealanders needed time for reassurance on the destination.’ Assouad says the resort is easy to sell to both families and couples. ‘Even when we are at 80% occupancy it is quiet. Guests tend to get out exploring during the day.’

The serviced apartment complex has a restaurant and bar and is 10 minutes drive from Port Vila on the southwest corner of Efate. ‘We are five minutes drive from the main supermarket with easy access to public transport or taxis,’ says Assouad. The 43 self contained apartments are spacious – 47sqm for the 30 Studios that sleep up to four guests, 117sqm for the two bedroom apartments that sleep up to six, plus there are six luxury oceanfront suites. ‘It’s all about space and privacy,’ Assouad says. ‘We have outdoor barbeques that are well-used, but guests tend to take the food back to their apartments to eat.’
