Cairo attraction update

Innovative Travel’s Cairo director, Elhamy ElZayat MNZM, is touring New Zealand in September to present a special update on the new Grand Egyptian Museum, due to open in Cairo in 2020.

ElZayat, who is a former chair for the Egyptian Tourism Federation, is internationally acclaimed as a spokesperson for Egyptian Tourism. Galloway says the NZ touring programme includes Auckland on Wednesday 4 September (agent evening event). The other event dates open to the travel industry and consumers are: Friday 6 September, lunch at the Parnell Trust, Auckland; Thursday 5 September, lunch at the Hamilton Gardens; Tuesday 10 September evening at the Hilton, Queenstown, Wednesday 11 September, evening event at Otago Museum, which is combined with a more in-depth presentation on Pharaonic Egypt; and Monday 16 September, evening at Innovative Travel in Christchurch. innovativetravel.co.nz/pages/events
