Air NZ Agent Experience events

Air New Zealand will host expo-style travel trade events for the first time in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland this May.
Air New Zealand senior manager distribution Blair Catton says the events will give trade new insight into product and customer experience innovations – including the airline’s refreshed Boeing 777-300 cabins.
‘With the first of our refitted 777-300s now in service, the expos are an opportunity to bring our trade partners and internal teams together and showcase what’s new.

‘Agents will leave with a better understanding of how we’re working to deliver an enhanced experience at all stages of the customer journey – on the ground and in the air,’ says Catton.
Trade partners will be able to meet Air New Zealand representatives from training, agency sales support, group sales, product and pricing, digital, Airpoints and cabin crew, as well as enjoy a tasting of Villa Maria wines
served on board.
The Christchurch session will be held at Canterbury Museum where Air New Zealand’s popular 75th Anniversary exhibition will be open exclusively to agents. Christchurch International Airport will attend the event to share details of airport developments.
Catton says the expos highlight the value of strong trade partnerships for the industry and Air New Zealand.
‘Giving agents face-to-face time with experts across our business will have great benefit for trade and likewise we’re looking forward to spending time with our key partners.’
Air New Zealand Agent Experience events will be held at Canterbury Museum, Christchurch on 1 May, Air New Zealand Customer Innovation and Collaboration Centre, Auckland on 11 May and Mac’s Function Centre, Wellington on 16 May.
