‘Many clients are spending a few days in Buenos Aires seeing the sights and taking in a tango show, then doing a side trip to Iguazu Falls, before continuing their journey to Europe.’ Lyons says this is a great way to introduce clients to South America ‘Evidence would indicate that after a short stopover there, travellers get a taste and want more. This sees them returning at a later time and perhaps covering the Andean countries of Peru and Ecuador.’
