PONANT increases Kimberley

PONANT is increasing the number of departures of its Kimberley expeditions during August and September 2021.

Twelve voyages are scheduled – nine 10-night expeditions, plus an additional three 12 and 13-night expeditions held in conjunction with National Geographic and featuring new itineraries. Monique Ponfoort, PONANT vice president Asia Pacific says, ‘To meet the growing demand for our Kimberley expeditions, we are increasing the number of departures in 2021 to provide more choice of travel dates and an expanded range of itineraries. The expeditions will commence at the conclusion of the ‘Big Wet’, when the Kimberley waterfalls are at their most spectacular, through to whale watching.’ 2021 will also see the arrival of the second of PONANT’s new fleet of ecoresponsible Explorer ships in Australian waters, Le Bellot, launched earlier this year and identical to Le Lapérouse.

Voyages in the range include Australia’s Iconic Kimberley – Darwin to Broome or Broome to Darwin – nine 10-night departures between April and September 2021 priced from A$9790pp in a deluxe stateroom with balcony, and The Essential Kimberley with National Geographic – Darwin to Darwin – two 12-night expeditions departing on 6 and 29 August 2021 priced from A$13,280pp in a deluxe stateroom with balcony.
