Demand for Safari

Kiwi-born Andy Kibby - the founder of Kenyan based The Safari Company - has struck a chord with older kiwis seeking African adventures, says New Zealand representative Innovative Travel.

An extra departure was added for 2018 for the most popular 31-day Gorillas, Gameparks & Beaches tour, which starts in Kampala and ends in Zanzibar.

The first tour departing on 29 July is sold out, nine months ahead of departure.

The Safari Company,  high based Safari vehicles have been specially fitted to offer unparalleled game viewing including a unique special high viewing platform behind the cab.

This combined with local style accommodation offers a unique proposition for the 40 plus market who are seeking adventure in Eastern and Southern Africa with an integral component being Kibby’s, 25 years’ of on the ground African Safari experience.

Other itinerary options include 23 days Southern Explorer from Zambia to Botswana and shorter options for East Africa including an 18 and 20 days departures.

For kiwis seeking a reasonably priced adventure, and with an 18-day safari, ex Nairobi from only $6890 pp/share twin,  this is a great option says Innovative Travel managing director, Robyn Galloway.
