Agroventures gets a new name

Agroventures Adventure Park is changing its name to Velocity Valley after almost 20 years.

The adventure park first opened in 1998 with the world’s first commercial jet sprint course.

Today, the park welcomes over 30,000 visitors a year and is one of New Zealand’s leading adventure hubs offering an array of exhilarating and ‘distinctively New Zealand’ adventure activities.

Velocity Valley managing director Simon Short, says the company has always been about speed, rapid movement and the rush of leaving your comfort zone.

‘Our new name and brand now clearly reflects this,’ he says.

‘Velocity Valley offers something for all ages and confidence levels and the pulse reading will help visitors determine what’s right for them.’
