BOP in force at eXplore

The increase in international visitor numbers to the Bay of Plenty has seen new products in the region become export ready – something that will be reflected in the Bay’s turnout at eXplore 2018.

‘The region’s message is ‘It’s in our Nature’ and our group of operators are all about fitting into the natural beauty and abundance of natural assets we have to offer,’ says Denise Siviter, trade marketing manager Tourism

Bay of Plenty.

eXplore 2018 is being held at Eden Park on 17 April and will have representation from eight regions in the Central North Island. Bay of Plenty’s tourism office will be joined by 10 operators – four of whom will be there for the first time. Aerius Helicopters specialises in flights around the BoP, Rotorua and Coromandel regions – including White Island.

Kiwifruit Country offers a tour that starts on the Longridge Orchard, while KG Kayaks & Mighty Motu Bike Tours offer trips to Moutohora / Whale Island and ocean and dune tours on the Motu Trails.

NZ Craft Beer Tours (Brew Bus) takes people to some of the country’s best craft creators so they can experience the ‘brave new world’ of brewing.

Inbound tour operators, tourism wholesalers and other trade buyers are welcome to attend the event.
