Savasi Island in Savusavu and Tides Beach Resort, Taveuni Island are at the roadshow for the rst time. Tourism Fiji’s trade partnerships manager Cameron Taylor says that interest from agents is great already. ‘We’re excited about the opportunity for Fiji product to showcase what is newly on oer. Fiji has had steady growth from the New Zealand market and it’s vitally important that we keep the trade informed about the new and refurbished products and experiences.’ The roadshow has a refreshed and more interactive format this year with agents grouped at tables with the Fiji product representatives, and then moving around the room. ‘This ‘round table’ setting oers agents a great chance to chat with the representatives in smaller groups giving the agents opportunities to ask questions,’ Cameron says. The roadshow is on from 4 – 8 September in Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton, Auckland and the North Shore. ‘Queenstown has been added to the itinerary due to the growth in the region. New Fiji product at Luxury Roadshow
The showcasing of new resorts, a revitalised format and the addition of Queenstown to the itinerary are highlights of Tourism Fiji’s upcoming Luxury & Couples roadshow next month. Product on show includes the new adults only addition to Paradise Cove Resort in the Yasawa Islands, the recently opened Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay with its overwater bures and Tropica Island Resort’s refurbishment.
