Ramada Port Vila bolsters team

Ramada Resort Port Vila has appointed Julien Dumont as room division manager and Michael Hardy as executive chef.

Dumont has a career in hospitality spanning more than two decades and has held leadership positions since 2000.

Prior to joining Ramada Resort Port Vila, Dumont worked as the director of rooms in the Crowne Plaza Vientiane in Laos.

The resort has also appointed Hardy to lead and train the culinary team catering for diners and delegates at the resort’s restaurant, Akiriki, its three bars, and conference venues.

Hardy used to manage a team of more than 20 staff at Tanoa International Hotel in Fiji, which featured three eating outlets and conference facilities.

The 80-room Ramada Resort Port Vila opened last year and features an outdoor pool, swim-up pool bar, sports bar, lounge bar and conference spaces.
