Tahiti time for NZ agents

A group of agents visiting Tahiti on a recent famil visited Huahine, the garden island for two nights.

‘We had the opportunity to stay at Le Relais Mahana and Le Maitai Lapita and visiting the third hotel on the island Royal Huahine and a site inspection of a pension Fare Maeva Huahine. During an island tour we visited the

sacred blue eye eels and Huahine Pearl Farm and had an authentic lunch at the Huahine Yacht Club,’ says Moana McKeen, trade manager – New Zealand with Tahiti Tourisme.

The agents left Huahine for two nights back in Tahiti where they stayed at Tahiti Pearl Beach. Highlights included lunch with Rogella Doom, Asia Pacic general manager for Tahiti Tourisme, and dinner and a Marquesan show at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort and Spa with Bernard Rickenbach, regional groups and incentive coordinator for IHG French Polynesia.

‘It’s really important that our agents get to experience the Islands of Tahiti as their clients would so we included time for them to enjoy each resort we stayed at so they could snorkel, SUP, enjoy the lagoon and pool facilities along with a few cocktails,’ says McKeen.

The earlier part of the famil included a visit to Bora Bora.
