Assisted travel ‘worth more’

Assisted travel ‘worth more’

High-end enquiries for bespoke FIT and inter-generational holidays is the fastest growing trend following the Government announcement that the New Zealand border will re-open for longer haul travel in 2022, according to Innovative Travel managing director, Robyn Galloway.

‘Families and individuals with generous budgets are seeking bespoke arrangements and peace of mind travel, with local in-country 24/7 backup,’ Galloway says.

Galloway says seamless service and 24/7 local back up is worth a lot more when travelling in this new environment, than saving a few dollars with direct online bookings, which leaves travellers on their own if rapid rule changes occur.

‘In destinations such as Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Turkey,  our VIP meet and assist prior to immigration provides an in-demand service for clients, where local regulations require clients to have a negative PCR test on arrival at the airport.

‘Our local reps provide assistance with immigration and assist the clients to the right location for testing when required. We also assist with in-country pre booking PCR tests for clients travelling to their next Innovative Travel destination. In this way country combination touring can be accommodated, alleviating the stress for both agents and clients.’
