Adventure World back in Africa

Adventure World general manager Caryn Young is back in Africa to reconnect face to face with suppliers and source new sustainable product that reflects the company’s new positioning statement of ‘Travel with Purpose’. Young is attending Africa’s Travel Indaba trade show in Durban, South Africa.

‘Getting back on a plane was like riding a bike, but with a few extra gears. Additional to the normal preparations, such as checking your passport is valid, visa requirements etc; South Africa also requires all arrivals to complete a Traveller Health Questionnaire,’ says Young.

Young recommends that before clients leave home they download and complete the Traveller Health Questionnaire – Entry Screening form. They should also print their International Vaccination Certificate or a valid certificate of a negative Covid-19 test, recognised by the World Health Organisation, which was

obtained not more than 72 hours before the date of travel.

‘Prior to Customs in Johannesburg, clients will be required to present both forms and their temperature will be taken at the same time. With all the correct documents Customs processing was seamless and quick.’
