Good work in Africa

Adventure World general manager Caryn Young recently visited the Good Work Foundation as part of the Sabi Sabi Community Tour.

South Africa’s Sabi Sabi is bordered by the local Shangaan villages of Huntington, Lillydale and Justicia. The majority of the foundation’s staff members come from these areas. Since the inception of Sabi Sabi, almost four decades ago, Sabi Sabi has formed partnerships with local communities in support of schools, sports facilities, cultural activities, and the like. Sabi Sabi has a community programme that includes education, healthcare, sport, culture, and conservation programmes and all the proceeds from the Community Tour revert directly back to the community.

As part of the Community Tour, Young visited the Good Work Foundation (GWF) which runs a Learning Academy for rural school children. Adventure World is committed to supporting suppliers whose values align to its own objective – Travel With Purpose.

Young has been attending Africa’s Travel Indaba trade show in Durban.
