Andrew Stanbury, regional director – South Pacific hosted the evening and highlighted the airline’s upcoming summer schedule, resuming on 18 November through to 20 April 2026.
Operating three times weekly, the Airbus A330 offers a total of 278 seats. Flight HA846 departs Auckland at 11:30 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Honolulu at 9:20 am the same day. The return service, HA845, departs Honolulu at 1:15 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, arriving in Auckland at 9:20 pm the following day. As part of the Alaska Air Group, Hawaiian Airlines provides connections across the Hawaiian Islands, onward to major U.S. gateways, and throughout Alaska Airlines’ extensive domestic network. Nick Dew from HA in New Zealand says agents should remember to check HA through fares to 80 destinations across the USA, in partnership with AS via HNL.
‘Keep an eye out for Black Friday deals,’ he adds as a teaser.
The occasion coincided with the departure of Russell (Rusty) Williss, Hawaiian Airlines’ long-serving country director.
‘Known for his exceptional contribution to the industry, and his genuine aloha spirit to both HA and Tourism Oceania, Rusty is one of a kind and a living brand for HA,’ says Stanbury. ‘He has played a pivotal role in strengthening Hawaiian’s brand and building long-lasting partnerships.’
Colleagues and industry took the opportunity to wish Williss (and his 165 Hawaiian shirts) all the best for the future.
