Air Vanuatu will resume its services to Port Vila from Auckland in July, following Vanuatu’s reopening of its border to international travellers on 1 July 2022.

NF will operate a twice-weekly non-stop Boeing 737 service on (3hr 15 flight duration) from Auckland to Port Vila on Wednesday and Saturday departing 1210, commencing 2 July 2022. Air Vanuatu will also resume flights from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to Port Vila as of 1 July.

‘The reopening of Vanuatu to international leisure travellers is a milestone we have been looking forward to and it will be great to see Kiwi travellers return to Vanuatu,’ Air Vanuatu chief executive officer Anu Finau says. ‘Flying with Air Vanuatu means passengers enjoy a warm Vanuatu welcome from the moment passengers step onboard.’

Air Vanuatu is a full-service airline including onboard wifi streaming entertainment to personal smart devices and complimentary inflight service including meals and bar service.

Jonas George, manager commercial, New Zealand says the airline expects to see strong demand from New Zealand travellers wanting an overseas holiday close to home.
