Alison Hopkirk is the new national account manager, based in Auckland, with Delta Air Lines.

She will be responsible for the trade and corporate sectors and joins Delta’s GSA, The Walshe Group, in the lead up to the airline starting a seasonal daily service between LAX and AKL on 28 October.

Hopkirk has most recently been with DriveAway for five years and before that worked with Discover the World representing Air Tahiti Nui.

At yesterday’s East Coast USA event, Delta was promoting direct flights from Los Angeles to Boston and Washington DC as well as flights with one stop through to Philadelphia.
