TN launches flights to Seattle
Air Tahiti Nui has launched the first non-stop service connecting Seattle to Tahiti. The inaugural flight, TN51, departed Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) at 1230hrs local time on Wednesday 5 October to arrive in Tahiti at 1910hrs local time on Wednesday 5 October.
TN adds capacity from AKL
Air Tahiti Nui has added additional weekly services on its ex-Auckland routes. Effective July, three services a week from Auckland-Papeete will connect with services to Los Angeles and Paris.
The July boost will meet the peak winter sun holiday season for the southern hemisphere and then revert to seasonal demand with another boost scheduled to commence in October to meet the peak northern hemisphere travel season.
TN: ‘Don’t miss Pacific bubble opp’
New Zealand will miss an important opportunity to travel safely if a South Pacific bubble doesn't open soon, according to Daniel Eggenberger, general manager of Air Tahiti Nui.
Tahiti is opening to visitors from 15 July, with pre-departure health checks required by visitors.

Air Tahiti Nui will soon be advertising for three new roles, following the announcement late last week that the carrier will take on the full, solus management of its New Zealand and Australian distribution, sales and marketing activities later this year.
