GOL's plans for flying taxis

Local GOL representative, Discover the World, advises the airline has recently partnered with Avolon, a leasing company, and committed to purchase or lease up to 250 eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) flying taxis.

The VA-X4 is a piloted eVTOL vehicle and completely electric. It will be capable of travelling at over 200 miles per hour with a range of over 100 miles. It will have the capacity to carry four passengers and a pilot.
