Anaheim has released new branding designed to encourage trade and their clients to view the destination in a wider context than they may have in the past.

Members and guests at the Skål International Auckland lunch in JW Marriott were among the first people in the world to get an early look at the new logo and tag-line, Made to Play. Lisa Linn, who represents Visit Anaheim in New Zealand, says a key message is that there is always something new to discover in the city over and above its famous attractions.

‘Anaheim is going through a significant transformation with developments like OCVibe, which is set to open in the next 12 months. This is an additional element for your clients to experience,’ Linn told the lunch attendees.

Visit Anaheim was a major sponsor, along with Delta Air Lines, of the Skål event. Both gave presentations and combined to contribute a major raffle prize of a trip to the USA worth $4000.  Kelly Clive, Delta’s country manager – Australia and New Zealand pointed out that this year will be Delta’s fourth season connecting AKL with LAX. She says the route is performing well and reminds the trade that their clients can connect with more than 50 destinations from the Los Angeles hub.

Melissa Sweeney, US Consul General also spoke at the lunch.
