Brand USA has announced the travel advisors selected to join its 2026 Ambassador Programme.

The new cohort includes eight from New Zealand, who will represent the region as part of the expanded global programme.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Brand USA will appoint 250 Global Travel Trade Ambassadors in 2026.

‘Strong partnerships with the travel trade are fundamental to Brand USA’s success,’ says Fred Dixon, president and CEO of Brand USA. ‘As we continue to grow international demand for the United States, the Global Ambassador Program recognises top professionals who influence travel decisions every day.’

The NZ 2026 Brand USA ambassadors are: Swapnil Bhate, Flight Centre; Holly Cliffe, House of Travel Auckland City; Tori Melody Taiaroa, House of Travel Devonport; Kimberley McCormick, House of Travel Botany Junction;  Yvette Dyer, Travel Managers Group; Fiona Muir, House of Travel; Abbie Bluck Helloworld Mt Maunganui; Leonie Paul, House of Travel.

Over the next 12 months, ambassadors will participate in destination training, network-ing opportunities, partner events and immersive educational experiences across the United States. They will also gain access to exclusive training, collaborate with fellow ambassadors around the world, and continue strengthening their expertise through Brand USA’s suite of travel trade resources, including the Get Facts. Get Going. toolkit for the latest visa and entry information and America the Beautiful, which provides destination inspiration, itineraries and trip-planning tools.

Qantas has joined the programme as the exclusive airline partner for ANZ, further strengthening the connection between the region and the US. QF will give support over the next 12 months through destination education, collaboration and advocacy.
