‘We have worked closely with our partners at United Airlines and Visit Anaheim to take 100 travel industry agents and partners to experience Disney100 at the Disneyland Resort in California,’ says Andrea Robinson, director of travel and business development APAC, Disney Destinations. ‘From the buzz created this week, we believe this will be extremely well received by travel agents.’
Beginning 27 January, the Disneyland Resort in California will commemorate the milestone with new experiences, entertainment and more throughout 2023. Disney100 will celebrate storytellers and creators, along with fans and families.
Robinson says Australia and New Zealand have traditionally been core markets for sending families and travellers to the Disneyland Resort in California.
‘Our purpose of this famil is to inspire and educate agents on all of our offerings and to bring back the magic of Disney to an industry heavily impacted by the past few years. We will be leveraging the Disney100 offerings during this trip, as well as some attractions which may still be fairly new to our market such as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Avengers Campus.’
There are two ways to earn a spot– one is a sales incentive component of selling Disneyland Resort tickets and United Airlines flights, and the second is by submitting a ‘Magical Moment’ customer impact story that showcases how an agent has gone above and beyond or how they were there lending a hand to a customer when they really needed one.
The incentive runs from 20 January – 27 February.
