Agents’ incentive to learn what’s new in Anaheim

Visit Anaheim is giving agents a chance to win a pair of wireless Beats over-ear headphones as an encouragement to complete Anaheim training modules and learn what is new in the destination.

Michael Young, manager tourism development with Visit Anaheim, says the offer runs through to
30 April.

‘We realise everyone is really busy at the moment but we want to give agents an incentive to find out the latest about Anaheim.’

The destination had strong representation at the Brand USA NZ Travel Expo on Monday night and followed this up with its own function, at the Churchill bar in the Sheraton Four Points Auckland on Tuesday.

‘This has been a great trip,’ says Young. ‘It’s been about reconnecting and continuing the positive momentum we’ve seen since the borders reopened.

‘We like Kiwi travellers, they come in our shoulder seasons and they are receptive to new and different things like our American sporting experiences, four rooftop bars, 22 microbreweries and a thriving food season.’

He says New Zealand agents are open to basing their clients in Anaheim as a safe, convenient to stay while they explore other parts of southern California – Hollywood Hills, San Diego, Palm Springs and the region’s beaches amongst others – as day trips.
