Agents check out Washington DC

Destination DC and United Airlines recently hosted  six winners on a trip to America’s capital.

The group embarked on a VIP tour of Washington DC, visiting landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Washington Monument.

Their trip also included a DC Mural Tour exploring the street art of NoMa and experiencing Union Market. Additionally, the winners visited museums including the National Air and Space Museum and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

The winners’ dining experiences included District Winery and Supra and also coincided with the Giant National Capital BBQ Battle, a food and music festival.

The group stayed at the AKA White House, located two blocks from the nation’s most important residential address.

Destination DC’s tourism, sports and visitor services senior vice president, Theresa Belpulsi says the agents were provided with a first-hand experience of the offerings of Washington, DC.

‘This famil not only allowed them to explore our city but also provided us with the opportunity to build valuable in-person relationships with these esteemed consultants. It is something we have missed over recent years.’
