Michelle Davies, general manager for Club Med Pacific and new ESAP Markets, says renovations at Club Med Bintan have come at a time when the resort is seeing strong demand from the Pacific market with sales up 47% year-on-year for 2026.
‘Bintan offers the perfect escape for families and multi-generational groups from around the world, as well as travellers looking to add serenity to a city break,’ Davies says.
‘As Club Med continues its shift towards a 100% upscale strategy, these renovations mark a new era for the resort and the brand.’
She says the evolution continues into 2027, with further enhancements including refreshed Kids Clubs spaces, a new Splash Pad designed for young children, a new specialty restaurant and an air-conditioned Zen Zone. The resort’s superior, deluxe and suite rooms have undergone a redesign and deluxe themed rooms have debuted.
The brand’s first Amazing Family! Hub in Asia has been added. The 300sqm facility features an indoor playground, activity areas, interactive games and relaxing lounge spaces. Families can discover new discovery trails across the resort and receive an Explorer’s Passport, with clues that lead them through nature and to hidden sculptures across the grounds.
Club Med Bintan has more than 20 sports and activities available, from signature favourites like the Flying Trapeze and archery ranges to new padel and pickleball courts and water sports.
Club Med Bintan is a Green Globe Certified Resort.
