Six Senses open in Bhutan

Six Senses has opened its first three lodges in Bhutan – in Thimpu, Paro and Punakha, reports World Journeys.

A further two lodges in Gangtey and Bumthang are due to open later this year in time for the Bhutanese summer. Each lodge is designed with spacious suites and villas, along with the Six Senses focus on wellness and sustainability. Guests can explore local towns, villages and monasteries, and do activities such as sunrise meditations, holistic spa treatments, butter lamp lighting ceremonies and forest walks. All lodges are accessed from Paro and can be combined in an itinerary, being interconnected by road, helicopter charters or private jet.

World Journeys has details about opening offers including upgrades from half board to full board, and for those booking five consecutive nights, a private vehicle with driver and guide at the guests’ disposal. Contact
