Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has launched the ‘Best Uniquely Japanese Experience’ incentive and invites the travel trade to share their special Japanese experience, or their dream Japanese experience, to win an exclusive dinner evening in Auckland.
Examples could be, but are not limited to, dining with a geisha, learning how to craft a samurai sword, sampling Japanese street food or regional cuisine, visiting a sake brewery, island hopping, wandering the pilgrimage trails and ancient temples, attending a music festival, or visiting a garden in full spring bloom.
Agents and brokers are welcome to use JNTO resources to create their entries, including the JNTO AU website, JNTO Media Centre, or use JNTO’s ‘100 Experiences in Japan’ guide to research future trips.
To be eligible, agents will need to sign up to the JNTO AU Newsletter, which contains up-to-date information and advice on news and attractions in Japan.
‘Best Uniquely Japanese Experience’ posts can be shared on the JNTO NZ community facebook page or sent to JNTO NZ representative, Dylan Joffe at jntonz@jkingassociates.com.
