Director Lance Mould says he has already been working with agents this year, applying his 26 years of specialist knowledge to provide solutions for their clients.
‘I’ve been receiving enquiries from key agents for some time now and I felt it was time to increase our profile again with the wider trade,’ Mould adds.
He says Active Asia’s strength is being able to get down to the detail that some larger, more general wholesalers may not be able to provide.
‘With the way the whole industry is now, specialist staff can be difficult to find. So sourcing on-the-ground knowledge can really help when clients are seeking to immerse themselves in a destination and get off the well-trodden paths.’
Mould says Vietnam remains a key destination for Active Asia, but the company can assist with anywhere on the continent.
‘We’re doing quite a bit with Sri Lanka and we can also help with Indochina in general, Myanmar, Taiwan and South Korea. We’re also assisting with some interesting Northern Thailand itineraries.’
