Wendy Wu Tours managing director New Zealand, Paul Dymond says Japan is still undeniably at the top of the list for Kiwi travellers.
‘We have put on more departures in 2024 than we’ve had in the history of Wendy Wu Tours. That means travellers can book with increased confidence into next year.’
To mark the launch, Wendy Wu Tours is giving a discount of $750 per person, when booking selected flight inclusive departures to Japan, South Korea or Taiwan in 2024 and 2025. There is also a discount of $400pp on land-only bookings. The offer is valid until 30 November 2023.
The company reports that its 18-day Japan Uncovered itinerary retains its title as ‘most popular tour’ as indicated by sales in 2023 and forward bookings for 2024.
‘This tour covers the highlights, gets clients off the beaten track, and is an introduction to all things Japanese,’ Dymond says.
‘I recommend agents and holiday makers who are interested book as early as possible, with most departures for 2024 already filling fast.’
Equally in demand for 2024-2025 are tours that take in Japan’s Cherry Blossom and Autumn Leaves seasons.
Given the year-round demand for Japan from the New Zealand market, the company has committed to offering a steady stream of touring options across the year instead of boosting tours only during traditionally peak times. The result is a consistent programme of tours departing 10 months of 12 (January and February the exception) in 2024 and into 2025.
