Novotel opens in St Kilda, Melbourne

Novotel St Kilda Novotel St Kilda

Hotel owner and hospitality group ERDI has opened Novotel St Kilda, strengthening its partnership with Accor and signalling a new chapter for the Fitzroy Street property

Novotel St Kilda is part of the broader St Kilda Collective, a partnership between Fortis, ERDI and Ondas, supported by the City of Port Phillip, that is investing more than $196 million in revitalising Fitzroy Street through hospitality and community-focused developments.

The opening comes as ERDI progresses a second major Victorian investment – an 11-storey tower expansion at Novotel Geelong that will add 134 rooms and make it the city’s largest hotel on completion.

ERDI’s growing portfolio includes Pullman Melbourne City Centre, Novotel Geelong and Mercure Melbourne City Centre.

Christos Pavlidis is general manager of Novotel St Kilda, with more than 25 years in hotel operations and pre-openings, joining from Ovolo, where he was area GM across its Melbourne properties.

The hotel complex includes Urban Kitchen & Bar, a stand-alone all-day dining venue blending Italian and modern Australian cooking.

Novotel St Kilda features 80 completely redesigned rooms and suites. Rooms have 75-inch televisions with Foxtel, Nespresso machines, local minibar products and bathtubs in select rooms, plus 24-hour reception, self-check-in, secure parking and a light-filled internal garden atrium.

Novotel St Kilda is offering 25% off bookings, starting from A$224 a night.
