Cruising the Nile in luxury

If clients are heading to Egypt it is important they do it the right way to ensure they get the most out of their experience, says Kenzie Imam, board member of Traveline Egypt which owns five ships cruising on the Nile under the Movenpick Cruising banner.

‘Going on line and winging it is the wrong way,’ says Imam.

In New Zealand this week, with Nicci Foulsham from luxury travel representation company Plateau International Ltd, Imam was a host at an educational evening at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in Auckland to help agents get things right for their clients.

‘We can still sometimes find space on our Nile cruises for 2023, if there is a cancellation, but most of them are full. Clients hoping to travel in 2024 should really be booking now.’

Imam says the Traveline / Movenpick vessels range from having four suites at the high-end of the luxury scale, through to 72 cabins.

Foulsham adds that luxury travel to Egypt is seeing massive demand for the year ahead.

‘Last year it tended to be Europe, a lot of people got to Italy and Greece in particular.’

Tuesday’s function was held in conjunction with Francis Travel Marketing.
