‘Our Australian and New Zealand guests have been awaiting our return to sailing in this fascinating region, and we’re confident Norwegian Jewel’s new Asian season will be worth the wait,’ said Ben Angell, VP and managing director, NCL APAC. ‘From new ports in the Philippines, Taiwan and Indonesia to Norwegian Jewel’s maiden visit to Tokyo for a series of immersive Japanese voyages, including autumn blossom season sailings, Asia is a region which is ideally suited to discovering by sea.’
Norwegian Jewel’s six-month Asia season will offer 16 port-rich itineraries visiting 11 countries and sailing from nine different departure ports, including Tokyo on 19 October 2023, and 11 and 31 March 2024 respectively for a series of voyages visiting Japanese ports such as Osaka, Kochi, Kobe and Nagoya.
Select sailings can be combined with a three-night, four-day land exploration with one of NCL’s cruise tours in Tokyo, Taipei and Singapore. A further highlight of the season will be voyages to and from Seoul, South Korea in March 2024 including calls into Jeju (Jeju Island).
