Race for Monaco Grand Prix 2024

Agents are being urged to get in quick if they have clients interested in attending the Monaco Grand Prix in 2024.

‘New Zealand is a few steps behind Australia, which is almost back to pre-pandemic numbers for us,’ says Alison Roberts-Brown, regional director for Visit Monaco. ‘However New Zealand is coming back, there is definitely interest here.

‘We probably missed out on some business from New Zealand because they missed out on 2023 Grand Prix tickets – so the message is to book now for 2024.’

Roberts-Brown says the major hotel group in Monaco, Monte Carlo SPM, has already released rates and packages around the 2024 racing.

In New Zealand this week for the DMS re-Connect event, Roberts-Brown says she is noticing interest from New Zealanders who will be in France for Rugby World Cup later this year.

‘Obviously people are travelling to other parts of Europe and we are seeing
a bit of that.’

She says corporate incentive interest is strong as is pre and post cruise business.

‘We are seeing small groups of people leaving or arriving from their cruise and spending a few days in Monaco – often for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary.’
