‘They are managing the unknown on where they need to be and when their travellers will start (moving again). So we are currently loading dual, static and BAR (best available) rates at the moment to overcome that problem.’

Dimitrakopoulos adds that corporate travellers will feel ‘some trepidation’ for a while as things open up in Australia, New Zealand and globally.

‘I would implore (people in) the industry to look around and trust each other. We have the right processes and procedures in place and together we can get this industry back on its feet and our travellers back focused on their business outcomes.’
