Raffe Hotels & Resorts is alerting trade to the completion of a new accommodation wing at Fiji Gateway Hotel, along with an expanded dining facility.

This introduces 47 modern rooms and suites and doubles the hotel’s restaurant capacity, providing enhanced comfort, choice, and convenience for guests.
Situated opposite Nadi International Airport, Fiji Gateway Hotel is a convenient base for travellers.

The new wing features 44 deluxe rooms, made up of 24 deluxe king rooms with a king bed and a single sofa bed, ideal for couples and business travellers; and 20 deluxe twin rooms with two queen beds, offering increased flexibility for families and groups. Additionally, three two-bedroom suites with two queen beds provide space for families and extended stays. With these additions, the hotel’s total room inventory has increased from 95 to 135, ensuring more choice and flexibility.

The interiors of the new accommodation wing have been conceived by New Zealand design studio Furnz Group, drawing inspiration from Fiji’s natural beauty through a contemporary lens.
Each room has bespoke pieces developed in collaboration with Rise Beyond the Reef, a Fijian non-profit organisation supporting rural Indigenous women and their families. This partnership contributes to the preservation of traditional craftsmanship and empowerment of local communities.

Landscaped pathways connect the new wing to existing facilities, including two swimming pools, a tennis court and spa services.
The hotel has expanded Palm Court Restaurant, effectively doubling its capacity. Dining facilities now include an indoor dining room, offering additional space while maintaining the open-air dining experience.

Lee Pearce, CEO of RAFFE Hotels & Resorts, says Fiji Gateway Hotel consistently operates at high occupancy. ‘With surging visitor numbers, we recognised the need to expand our accommodation and dining offerings.’
From travellers arriving early and stopping in for breakfast straight off international flights, to those in transit to Australia, New Zealand and beyond, the hotel accommodates a diverse mix of visitors. It is popular for pre- and post-island stays for guests heading to Fiji’s outer islands, as well as a dining destination for visitors from nearby properties.
