New from Vanuatu Ecotours

Vanuatu Ecotours has added a number of new options to its portfolio as the destination looks to reopen on 1 July.

This includes a new cascades product, 25 minutes from Port Vila. Crystal Cascades is located in a rainforest setting and is private and exclusive to Vanuatu Ecotours. ‘We believe it complements other cascades products on Efate and will be accessible via a half-day and full day tour,’ says managing director Rob Macalister.

Vanuatu Ecotours has also launched a new six-day festival package, John Frum Day 2023.

‘John Frum Day is an unforgettable celebration for the followers of this indigenous religious movement (often referred to as a ‘cargo cult’). The package was trialed with Vanuatu residents in 2022 with great feedback,’ says Macalister.

‘Our river kayaking and bushwalking day tours will continue to operate as before. Until volume grows, some of these will only operate on certain days of the week and we will not be offering our sea kayaking or mountain biking day tours.’

The range of three to six-day outer island packages will be available as Vanuatu’s provinces progressively reopen for tourism.

‘Our popular three-day Island Explorer package, taking in Efate’s offshore islands of Nguna and Pele, is now fully escorted to ensure clients make the most of their experience, and to tailor activities to their liking. We are also be offering destination management services and have used the down-time to build our relationships with trade partners,’ says Macalister.

Brands such as Trip-A-Deal, Intrepid Travel and Entire Travel Group are now selling Vanuatu itineraries in partnership with Vanuatu
Ecotours.
