There were three groups, each exploring different regions of Fiji before joining another 10 Matai Silver agents for two nights at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and a day of learning with 25 of Tourism Fiji’s industry partners.

All three groups had a number of hotel site inspections while activities included a Sigatoka cave safari and river tubing on the Coral Coast; South Sea sailing in the Mamanuca Islands; and a Blue Lagoon Cruise and visits to Sawa-i-Lau Caves in the Yasawas among others.

The accommodation providers visited were diverse. On the Coral Coast famil they included DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, The Naviti Resort and Shangri La Yanuca Island, Fiji among others.

The Mamanuca Islands group checked out Plantation Island Resort, Musket Cove Island Resort & Marina, Matamanoa Island Resort and more.

Octopus Resort and Blue Lagoon Beach Resort were visited by the Yasawa Islands famil participants – who also experienced The Palms and Sails Restaurant in Denarau.
