The resort, with its green atrium and hanging gardens, will highlight a different part of Fiji for guests. It will not only increase Denarau’s room inventory but will incorporate a cultural community and onsite events centre, wellness facilities, seven dining outlets, and an executive rooftop club and penthouses.
Added to that will be a large pool, a lazy river, Flow Rider, waterslides, swim-up bar and two infinity rooftop pools.
The chairman of Richmond Limited, Michael Nacola, says that the board had confidence that this was the right time to launch Vatu Talei, to complement the good range of hotel product already available. ‘With Fiji Airways’ plans to expand flights to long-haul destinations, there was a clear need for additional room inventory in the luxury segment of the market which this new hotel will support.’
