The Solomons Master liveaboard dive vessel takes divers to remote dive sites not accessible any other way. Diving the Florida and Russell Islands, divers will experience a wide variety of underwater features, from caverns, swim-throughs and lava tubes to vibrant coral reefs, teeming with marine life, and historically significant WWII wrecks.

Itinerary highlights include the stunning Leru Cut, a narrow slot through a limestone island, lit from above through overhanging rainforest canopy, Rainbow Reef, a seamount covered in soft corals and giant sea fans and Karamulon Point, a coral wall patrolled by black tip reef sharks. Then there are the WWII wreck sites such as Ghavutu Island - a WWII graveyard, home to at least 13 Japanese Mavis planes and an American Catalina, now home to a wide selection of macro critters including ribbon eels, flatworms and nudibranchs.

For those with a ‘lust for rust’ the Solomons Master has designated ‘Wreck Weeks’ focusing on the many WWII wrecks of the Russell and Florida Islands including the RNZN Moa minesweeper, the USS Minneapolis and USS Kanawha, Japanese Mavis planes, and also takes in the wrecks of Guadalcanal including Bonegi I, II and III.
